How Accurate Is Seiko Automatic Watch? I Own 4 Of Them And ...

automatic or quartz watch accuracy

automatic or quartz watch accuracy - win

[Diving watch] Has anyone here actually dived with a diving watch? What sort of features would you look for on an actual diving watch?

Just for clarity, this is 100% general interest, I'm not looking to get into diving. I'm assuming a lot of the features commonly seen on divers- date windows, uneccesary design on the face, even automatic over quartz for accuracy- are typically design rather than practicalities focused, and would make it harder to check the time underwater. Obviously, depth matters, but I'd like to know what else goes into choosing a watch for diving. Is a rotating bezel something you'd actually use, or is it just a gimmick? Is there a go-to, near perfect diving watch? Any info on diving and watches appreciated, even if it's not specifically answering the questions asked here.

[Review] RG SM JUC w/diamonds from TS WenZhi, Ballon Bleu 28mm/33mm V6F and Datejust 28mm GSF from TS Anna

No incentives given for this review. I just wanted to (over)share.
I kinda fell headfirst down the rep rabbithole! Family photo of loot. It started while looking at the JUC with diamonds in the Cartier shop, with every intention to purchase it right there. However, the price difference between the non-diamond vs diamond version gave me pause. Those are MINISCULE diamonds and they want to upcharge how much??
Taking more time to think about this matter, I decided I needed more reference photos and googled 'small juc review' that night. Lo and behold, a review of this item from repladies was the first hit. I was flabbergasted that this sort of thing was possible, and done SO well.
I immediately contacted WenZhi based on that review, and the rest is... a slippery slope. Here's the timeline:
11/11 - Chat up WenZhi, he doesn't accept Paypal so I gotta go through the bank.
11/18 - Payment confirmed for JUC after bank fussing. WenZhi lets me know it'll be about 20 days.
11/22 - While waiting for item to be made, stalk Repladies for more eyecandy, accidentally stumble upon Reptime... oh boy.
11/24 - Contact Anna for some of those tasty watches. Immediately sent payment for Ballon Bleu 33mm since she accepts Paypal F&F. This happened after midnight and I'm wondering if lack of sleep is making me impulsive. Keep browsing photos of BB reviews until I pass out.
11/25 - Anna delivers!! Feeding my greedy eyes with beautiful, beautiful PSPs. I immediately GL because I want it, like, yesterday.
11/26 - As if I didn't know better, I went browsing through Anna's other albums way past my bedtime and aggressively impulse-buy a Datejust.
11/30 - BALLON BLEU ARRIVES (33mm, via EMS post)! That very same night, WenZhi sends PSPs and I'm just giddy. Instant GL because I have no chill.
12/1 - Anna sends PSPs for Datejust! Looks better than example photos, so I GL even though there's some issues (more on this later).
12/3 - Package from WenZhi arrives?! Wow that was quick (SF Express). I can't stop myself from ordering one more BB from Anna, in 28mm this time. Do you see how slippery this rabbit hole gets?! They're just like one message away from sending you fine things at reasonable prices.
12/4 - Datejust arrives (via EMS) from Anna, it looks BETTER than the PSPs!
12/5 - PSPs for BB28 arrive while I'm out taking a stroll, instant GL without even looking through them because my BB33 was so amazing. I trust their QC.
12/10 - Oohhh the BB28 is delivered! And now I can finally post this review.

RG SM JUC w/diamonds ($850 shipped)

Auth | Factory | PSP | Mine
If Cartier just charged a bit less for their silly diamonds, I would've bought auth that day and never found this world.
Quality - 10/10
It's real gold and diamonds, what can I say. White, sparkly diamonds, high-polish gold. Top notch. I don't feel like I'd be getting additional value by going auth.
Accuracy - 9.75/10
Good Stuff:
  • Pretty much exactly how I remember the one I tried on was like.
  • Size (15) is accurate.
  • RG color is beautiful and subtle, matches auth pieces because why wouldn't it, same material (RG does fade with time, so when comparing a new RG to an older piece expect it to be rosier).
  • Groove markings, diamond sizes, and nail tips all look accurate to me.
  • Springy enough to click shut, like auth.
  • Engraving starts at the right place, in the correct font and neat.
Bad Stuff:
Other Stuff:
  • This is quite a light bracelet (as is the auth), since it's hollow wire inside. Very comfortable to wear.
  • I asked if it was possible to modify the design so it wasn't a rip-off, but was told no. Just as well, I'm pretty happy with it as is.
Satisfaction - 10/10
They've literally NAILED this piece, it's a steal. I have no desire to buy the auth, because this IS real to me - a real 18k gold and diamond bangle that does a bang-up job decorating my wrist. I'd feel 100% comfortable walking into Cartier with it on.
Also, another thing worth noting -- while this bangle is stronger than the Tiffany T wire (those are ALWAYS bent out of alignment, even the new ones in-store), it still is possible to bend out of shape by nature of the design. So far I've worn this nonstop since I got it, sleeping/showering, catching it on sweaters, flipping it the wrong way, and nothing happened yet. I've seen a few reviews where it got bent, though (including auth), so just keep that in mind. I still think it's worth the risk, especially at this price!

Ballon Bleu 33mm ($139 shipped)

Auth | Factory | PSP | Mine
This is a watch that's always been on my radar, but I didn't like it $$$$ enough to ever seriously consider buying. However, I do like it $$$ enough, hell yeah!
Quality - 10/10
The watch came in a Chanel box, labeled as a bag. Complete with cute Chanel ribbon and bow (testament to all the bags Anna must sell). Watch itself was wrapped securely in some nice, thick plastic, the good stuff, the stuff expensive stuff gets wrapped in.
I'm COMPLETELY SHOCKED at the quality of this watch for the price. Comparing to my nice, authentic, $$$$ watch (and also my parents' $$$$$ watches), I'm not seeing much difference between them. It is worlds better than my Seiko (supposedly a great 'bang for buck' brand) in the same price range, at least on the outside.
Accuracy - 9.5/10
Good Stuff:
  • Uses imported Swiss Ronda quartz, reliable workhorse that should last quite a few years.
  • The bracelet is weighty, solid, satisfying.
  • The sapphire glass is perfectly domed, high quality, and distorts light when bent at an angle (like auth).
  • Cabochon and hands are a nice shade of blue.
  • The clasp is smooth and easy with a nice click.
  • Hidden 'Cartier' signature is well aligned, neat and thin. Looks just like part of the V from a distance. I think they do this better than AF, which uses a thicker font. From a distance, V6F is much closer to gen in this regard. Comparison pic
  • 'Swiss Made' in correct position, legible.
  • Guilloche nice and shiny and neat. Beautiful finish.
  • The shape is perfect, soothing and just a joy to rub.
  • I feel really posh when I wear it.
Bad Stuff:
  • 'Swiss Made' is a bit wavier than some auth, but this is super tiny font. (-0.25)
  • If I'm gonna nitpick, the hidden 'Cartier' signature could be more centered between the V and I. It's just a smidge too far from the V. Mind you it's even smaller than 'Swiss Made', so this is not an issue unless you're taking macro photos to resell as auth (tsk tsk). (-0.25)
  • Logo on back is etched instead of engraved (not as deep). Who cares about the back though?! No points deducted.
Other Notes:
  • Face color is a little bronzy in some lighting. Some older auths are also this way but if you prefer whiter faces try AF.
Beware! While researching auths, I noticed many so-called auths on consignment sites also had these tells. They were being (successfully) sold for $2500-5000! :( Basically this rep stands up to scrutiny, enough to fool serious buyers unaware of the rep market. I'd confidently wear it anywhere (and never resell it as an auth!).
Satisfaction - 10/10
I'm suuuuper satisfied with this purchase. It is a lot of watch for the money, regardless of rep or not. Finishing is excellent, just really beyond my expectations. I love how flat and pebble-y this watch is, the smoothness is addictive to touch. Gotta hand it to Cartier for their sleek designs. Husband doesn't like it because he claims it's too big for my wrist, but he only likes me wearing watches for ants. This is REALLY comfortable to wear!
People have said this watch is NWBIG (not worth buying in gen), and I concur with this assessment. We are completely spoiled having this option as a rep (and at this price!!), they did a really great job.
I forgot to ask Anna to adjust the size before she sent it, but it was no problem taking it to a local watch shop and getting a few links removed (cost $3.50).

Datejust 28mm ($261 shipped)

Auth (doesn't come in 28mm anymore) | Factory | PSP | Mine
Nearly double the price of the BB, but I had much lower expectations since I've seen 0 reviews of the factory (GSF) for any watches. The combination of diamond dial + fluted bezel is what my dad always wore, so it would be fun to match. Even from the example photos I could tell the fluted bezel was too large and the date was badly off-center. BUT this is a sentimental piece so whatever!
My dad wanted to buy me a Rolex so I've tried on a bunch at the AD, but they were all just 'OK'. And since that's not the kind of feeling you try to buy with $$$$$, I turned down his kind offer. While not personally a fan of Rolex designs (boring?), it makes me feel closer to my dad who I rarely see now.
Quality - 10/10
Oh my god? It's way better in person than in photos?! What is this sorcery?!?!? From the photos I expected a toy since it looked too shiny, bezels too big, etc. In person though it looks absolutely fine? All the details are there and done with care.
Accuracy - 9.5/10
Good Stuff:
  • It's automatic using a rep of the actual Datejust movement (2235), so not only does the second hand sweep at auth frequency (4Hz) but the way you set it is the same too. It's very fun to set.
  • Pretty dial, nice texture.
  • Cyclops zoom looks about right to me.
  • Rolex written around rehaut is accurate.
  • Even has the hidden serial number and nearly invisible crown at 6 o'clock.
  • Solid, comfy bracelet, smooth links. Easy to open yet secure clasp, a joy to use.
  • Crown logos, etc are immaculate.
Bad Stuff:
  • Fluted bezel seems a touch large, or angled slightly too flat. Honestly it could be my eyes playing tricks, and it's just the different material under lighting (mine is SS not gold as it should be, so it looks 'harder'). (-0.25)
  • For about half an hour before midnight, the date starts rolling over slowly. Real Rolex should just instantly flip the date at 12, so this is a huge callout if anyone looks at it at 11:30 PM~ (-0.25)
  • Datewheel numbers not centered, and a bit thin. Apparently Rolex has variations on the thickness (according to Gamma_NZ at Reptime), and I see auth with offcenter date, so no points deducted.
I pointed out to Anna that the Datewheel numbers weren't centered, but still GL since that's how it is in the factory photos. In person, it's actually a lot better than the factory example! Still leans a little to the top and left, but not at all obvious.
Other Notes:
  • I thought 'Datejust' font was SLIGHTLY too tall/wide, but realized I was comparing it to 31mm and up. The rare photos of 28s I found all matched; this dial is on-point.
  • Same with the BB28, can't tell CZs are not diamonds. They just give off a little sparkle.
Overall this is actually a more solid rep than I'd bargained for.
Satisfaction - 10/10
I expected a sentimental fun toy that wouldn't pass at all, but it exceeded that by miles. This might be GS Factory's first (english?) review, and I'm giving them a 10/10. Here I thought good reps of smaller watches (other than BB) didn't exist since I've never seen them reviewed... Anna has just about all the dial options, too.
Anna did remove a few links as requested, still ended up loose but no big deal, took it back to the same watchshop that adjusted my BB33 earlier ($3.50 again). At this point I feel bad letting him assume it's gen, he was kinda reverent with it, but how do I just blurt out "it's a rep!!" when he didn't even ask?
This watch has plenty of competition for time on my wrist, but I reach for it surprisingly often. The date is just so useful to have! This makes me reconsider Rolex despite the thick old-fashioned case; maybe I would enjoy owning an auth one day.
Best bang for buck (and imo more stylish) will still be the quartz BBs though, at over $100 cheaper. However, if you value mechanical movements and/or just like Rolex, these are actually so great.

Ballon Bleu 28mm ($156 shipped)

Auth | Factory | PSP | Mine
Ok seriously this was just me binging on BBs because I loved my 33mm so much. This is the last to arrive so I've only had it an hour as I'm writing this post, but so far it's my least favorite of the watches. It's undeniably beautiful, but I wish the bracelet was a tad thinner to match the smaller face size. I feel like the proportions on the 33mm is better, and the thinner bracelet on the Rolex is daintier.
Quality - 10/10
Same as its 33mm big sis, the 28mm doesn't fail to disappoint. Great finish, solid materials, much attention to detail. The color of the RG is good too, not at all fake or overdone. However, I prefer the brushed middle link on the 33mm to the shiny finish on the 28mm. Just personal preference.
Accuracy - 8/10
Good Stuff:
  • Everything good about the 33mm.
  • Face is whiter than the 33mm, which goes nicely with the 'diamonds'.
  • CZ markers cut well, spaced evenly.
  • 'Swiss Made' is actually pretty neat, even under loupe.
Bad Stuff:
  • The 'C' on Cartier is a little lower. It's obvious when placed next to my BB33. I have to deduct more points because it's hard to miss once spotted, a shame since the rest of the watch is so nice. (-1.75)
  • Well the RG color is still gonna be a bit more coppery than real 18k, and won't have the lustre of gold. (-0.25)
Other Notes:
  • I asked if the CZ could be swapped for lab diamonds and the answer was no. :'( However! I actually can't tell the difference at this size anyway. I thought I might since I own lots of jewelry but, no. I would not go for fake bling on the outside of a watch, since it oxidizes and easily turns dull, but on the inside will last quite a good while. I have old fashion watches with CZ inside which still blings on.
  • Anna again helped me remove a few links, but was still 1 link too big.
Satisfaction - 9/10
Once I noticed the C was a bit low I couldn't fully enjoy it, since it's right there on the face of the watch in bold. Can't unsee it. It's still a great model for helping me test the waters and figure out what I really want in a watch, otherwise I'd always wonder.
Now I know for sure the 28mm BB is not for me, because I like either dainty or solid watches, and this falls into neither camp. The face is dainty, but the bracelet is as thick and tall as the 33mm. It's like, make up your mind! Perhaps it'd do better on a leather strap but I prefer metal bracelets. It also helped me realize I just don't like two-tone bracelets (my mom loves it on me so this is really preference).
I think it's amazing we can get nearly 1:1 reps to wear around the house and judge at leisure instead of making up our minds on the spot in the shop, under bright lights while people wait on you.

Seller Service and Communication - 10/10

WenZhi: Friendly, professional, easy to communicate with. I like the gloves whoever takes the PSPs is wearing, makes it feel extra fancy.
Anna: Will probably "ok dear" and "honey" you a lot, professional, easy communication. Sends nice high-def photos + vids (as you can see from the PSPs), and happy to send more for any reason.
Both sellers don't rest and are responsive 7 days a week. O_O Quick to ship with secure packaging. 10/10 would recommend and buy from again (and again).

Overall Satisfaction 100/10

This was a tough time and all the researching/review reading/squinting at comparison photos until passing out late into the mornings really helped take my mind off real life. Luxury brands are selling ~the dream at a price unaffordable to most peasants, but reps make dreams reality and it's fun! Saving up for a grail piece is also exciting, but reps help me determine better what actually is worth buying and will fit my life.
For example, when I first tried on Rolex at the AD years ago, and when I wore the rep Rolex on day 1, I couldn't stop thinking it looks so old-fashioned and it's so not my style. But somehow, around day 3 or 4, when I realized I kept choosing it over my other watches, I'm like... yes. I could get used to this. I can actually see this as a watch I'd wear 24/7, as my dad does, so... that's how I'm saving up for a Rolex now, thanks replife...!
On the other hand I will never get the auth JUC with diamonds, or even the BBs, because I can't sense any further value. YMMV if you love the history of the brand though!
At first I thought I'd enjoy these less than auth, sort of like when I purchase costume jewelry and they end up being a waste of space since wearing them brings me no joy. BUT this is actually not that! These items possess the quality to backup the look and DO make me feel all fancy pants.

[Review] AF Cartier Ballon Bleu 33mm Quartz from Jtime (RepTime TS)

Hi ladies!
First review post here, I have few other bags to review but I wanted to start off by writing review for this watch because I feel like there aren’t as many reviews of rep watches. I looked at both RepLadies and RepTime for references before pulling the trigger, and I ended up purchasing AF Cartier Ballon Bleu 33mm Quartz version from Jtime, TS on RepTime.
Here goes details!
Order Timeline:
10/03/2020: Inquired Jtime about ballon bleu 33mm quartz model.
10/05/2020: Li tells me that AF is better quality than V6F quartz version. AF was $268 and V6F was $198, Li said general feel + details on dial + engraving on case back is better, so I decide to go with AF factory's watch. I send payment via Transferwise.
10/08/2020: I receive PSP from Lana via email. I see bit of gap on one of the links and express my concern, and Lana gets back to me within a day showing photos of fixing the loose (?) link. I GL.
10/11/2020: I receive email from Lana that watch was shipped.
10/21/2020: Watch finally arrived!!!

I'm extremely happy with this watch! It looks expensive, feels heavy, and fits on my wrist like a glove. But two (extremely minor) things that bothered me were:
1) Removing links to adjust the length was pretty hard (-0.1). For those who are interested, you need a micro precision screwdriver, but of the three sets of micro precision screwdrivers that I ordered from Amazon, none really fit. I had to force the smallest micro precision screwdriver into it because I gave up on finding one that fits exactly, but some screws were SO TIGHTLY SCREWED IN that those ended up being butchered. My SO and I had to strategically target those that looked less tightly screwed in. Him working in the industry where he uses a lot of micro precision devices, he said that this watch must be using pretty cheap-ass screws as those were so malleable. I mean, the straight ㅡ line was immediately dented after one try at turning the screw, so yes it was annoying, but at the end of the day this watch is less than $300 so I don't think this could have been any different.
2) The clasp is extremely tight. By that, I mean seriously tight. I know that this is a new watch and that it will eventually loosen up, but it is SO SO SO hard to put it on or take it off, especially after taking few links out to fit it on my wrist. I feel like there has got to be a way to help this loosen up more quickly... if anyone knows how to do so, please let me know!

I simply do not see any accuracy issues on this watch. I actually tried this watch on in boutique in less than month ago, and the watch felt about the same weight and feel as well. - The fonts match the picture on the website, the tiny cartier logo on VII looks good, tiny swiss made logo looks good, the color of cabochon looks good too. - Case looks identical to auth. Initially, I was a bit worried as I thought there was larger spacing than auth between the crown guard and cabochon. I asked Lana about it and she said it is normal range, so I trusted her and it turns out it is very similar (if not the same) to the auth that I tried on. - The bracelet is weighty, which feels like a luxury metal bracelet watch. Not deducting point for the screw quality problem I mentioned above as no one can/will ever check the quality of screws of my watch haha. - The clasp, besides it being extremely tight, is correctly shaped and functions same. I think they nailed even the small Cartier logo and other engravings on the clasp as well. Again, not deducting points for it being tight as that shouldn't matter on how accurate it looks. - The engravings on the case back look amazing to me, clean and deep. I wasn't able to find the exact text on the bottom part of the case back of quartz version (where it says "Stainless Steel, Water Resistant...") as the quartz version is supposedly being phased out and the boutique that I visited only had automatic version (had longer text than mine, "Automatic" added for sure). If any of you ladies know if this is accurate to auth, please let me know, but I personally don't mind as no one will really see it when I'm wearing it.

I am really happy with it except for the clasp being so tight , which makes my experience to put it on and take it off so painful to the point where I'm hesitant of putting it on (and yet I put it on because despite the pain my right hand thumb has to go through, it would need as much use to help loosen this up..😭). The fact that I have to think once more whether to put it on really makes me sad because I really love this watch and I want to wear it as much as possible. Hence -0.1 off.

I am super satisfied with Li and Lana from Jtime. Li is the sales rep for Jtime, who was not only fast in responding but also very honest about price difference, version differenc, etc. Lana is the one who sends PSP and follows up with you regarding shipping, and I heard she is one of the most trustworthy reps on RepTime as she will be very honest as well about quality control issues and work with you should you have any concerns. She was very quick to fix the loose(?) gap on my watch and I am very happy with the one I received.

Hope this helps anyone of you ladies who are wondering if you should pull the trigger on Ballon Bleu 33mm!

Quality: 10/10
I am very impressed with the quality of this watch. It has a nice weight and sounds nice (both the metal clicks and the tick-tock); appears well constructed. The watch mechanism works well (ie it is keeping time). The bracelet feels good, the clasp opens and closely easily. It is shiny, the crystal is thick and beautiful. The crown works smoothly (to set the time) and has a satisfying turn. The blue hands and crown are SO PRETTY, as is the wavy pattern on the face.
Accuracy: 9.75/10
After I received the watch, I spent a fair amount of Covid downtime researching fakes, reading articles about it and lurking on rep time. This is an EXCELLENT rep imho. My husband is a watch geek (and so would NOT buy a cartier, I guess the mechanism isn’t cool enough for him) and he was impressed with the watch, which is saying something.
The differences between auth I can identify are TINY- you need a magnifying glass, or an excellent camera, to see them. We couldn’t see them w/ naked eye.
Pros: - fonts and spacing of letters are accurate
-no second hand on quartz mechanism
-uses screws, not pins, for the bracelet and back of face.
-fonts and spellings all correct
-wavy pattern on face tight and present everywhere
-silver face and blue hand are correct color
-minute markers aligned with numbers perfectly
-crystal is thick, neat, and distorts correctly
-at #4 mark, uses “IIII” instead of “IV”
-markings on bracelet are correct-
Cons: -possibly too much gap between crown and casing (can't measure)
-cartier written on VII is slightly larger than I it is in
-”swiss made” on bottom of face is slightly less than centered. Maybe.
Satisfaction: 9/10
I’m really pleased with this watch! When I went to get the links removed, my friendly but indignant watch lady asked why I didn’t get it from her- and she clearly knows her stuff! (She takes care of my husband’s watches.)
I have 5.5” wrists (5.3" technically) and was worried about the size, but the smaller face sizes isn’t as well reviewed so I was worried about the quality. I need a watch for work and so whenever we go back to normal I’ll be using it most days. I wanted something you couldn’t tell was not auth, but most women around me (that wear watches) wear a rolex, not cartier. (A nice plus since they won’t know this watch!) I like the look too- a little sporty, a little dressy, not too stuffy but looks like jewelry.
I originally wanted 2 tone (stainless steel and gold bracelet) but decided against it because I was worried about the gold plating nicking off and showing metal underneath. My e-ring and wedding band are platinum, but I otherwise wear gold jewelry. It looks deliberate since it goes w/ my wedding set.
I have 2 regrets- I had some problems getting a comfortable size. My watch lady removed 3 links, and it was a touch too tight (I couldn’t easily put my finger under the clasp to open it) but I HATED it with 2 links removed. It would twist and get caught on my wrist bone. I’ve gotten used to it w/ 3 links removed, it feels comfortable just isn’t quite so easy to take off.
My other regret, which may cause me to get a new watch, is the lack of a second hand. I need a second hand for work; I ordered quartz because I was concerned that the automatic is too much upkeep (wearing it every day, setting the time etc) and because the watch geeks say the automatic has a slight tell on the way the second hand moves or something. Whatever. I need a second hand, and I love the watch, such that I can see myself wearing it everyday so hopefully an automatic will stay wound.
Seller Communication and Service : 10/10
This was my first rep purchase so I didn’t know what to expect. It was too easy and totally addictive. Anna isn’t very chatty, but was really responsive at 2a her time (middle of the day here). Very quick and businesslike, which worked great for this (I knew what I wanted, she had it, done.) Her price is great- much less than the trusted sellers over at reptime, who are selling it for like $240? We’re lucky here!
Also, I got it in 4 DAYS. My amazon prime packages have taken longer than that. Totally spoiled me because I’m impatient with other things I’ve ordered since- DHL set some unreasonable expectations.
You guys need to get this watch. It’ll elevate your game. You won’t need your phone to tell time. It’ll match the tone set by your rep bag, shoes, coat and jewels. Get the quartz unless you need a second hand.

[Orient Neptune] -It's the gauge dammit!

[Orient Neptune] -It's the gauge dammit!
This is my (fairly) recently acquired Orient Neptune. I had pretty much given up on automatics. I have a few other automatic watches (Omega Seamaster, Tempest Viking 2, Seiko Turtle). I was always "worried" about the stand by capacity on my other watches. I would constantly be shaking my arm to "make sure" it had enough charge left especially to make it through the night. I also got a little tired of the accuracy (or lack thereof) of my other automatics. I want an accurate watch to you know, tell me the correct time! I have quite a few "Atomic Time" Casio G-Shocks and Pro-Treks to satisfy that need for accuracy.
This Orient Neptune has changed my mind on both issues described above. It is accurate. So far it is +2.06 seconds in two months. That is better than some quartz watches I have! It also has a power reserve indicator. No more shaking the arm/watch unnecessarily.
Yeah, I know, leather band on a dive watch, but this works for me.

I've found Deep Blue, but I find those watches to be rather thick and bulky. Marathon watches are nice, but also pretty bulky for me. The Traser P67 Officer Pro is a good contender. I also really like the Nite Alpha and Icon
Are there any others out there? I'd love a Ball but those are out of my financial grasp for the foreseeable future.
Quartz is preferable as this would be my main watch (with my current Citizen as a beatethief pass) and I like the idea of little to no maintenance and high accuracy over an automatic movement. I can deal with an auto, though. 10bar minimum as I don't want to worry about impromptu moisture/waterain exposure, though I wouldn't wear it while showering or washing a car.
EDIT: added Marathon mention.

[Review] Cartier Ballon Bleu in 33mm stainless steel from Sead + 1 year wear and tear

SELLER + PRICING + TIMELINE
Timeline
  • 12/02/2018 - Contacted and asked about models, I decided on a 28mm Ballon Bleu with crystal time markers, not the standard Roman numeral markers
  • 12/05/2018 - Paid via WU
  • 12/13/2018 - PSPs received and greenlit
  • 12/16/2018 - Shipped via SF
  • 12/23/2018 - Shipping company reports an issue, apparently the house number wasn't included in the electronic invoice slip (but was handwritten on the package) and the shipping company is unable to complete delivery. The shipping company says they will return to sender.
  • 01/04/2019 - Sead says he will ship it again
  • I follow up at 1-2 week intervals. Chinese New Year falls within this time period.
  • 02/18/2019 - Sead says the original watch never made it back to him
  • 03/04/2019 - Second watch is shipped (no PSPs this time)
  • 03/14/2019 - Watch received, but it's not the watch I ordered and is instead a 33mm Ballon Bleu with a guilloche face and Roman numeral markers.
PHOTOS + WEAR & TEAR + REVIEW
Factory: I referenced photos on InTime to get an idea of V6F factory's products, and here's photos of the model I received [LINK]
Auth: [LINK]
PSPs: Not included as the PSPs I received are a different model from what I received, so they're not really relevant to this review.
Mine:
  • New and shiny last year [PHOTOS ]
  • 1 year of wear & tear [PHOTOS]
Wear & Tear:
Overall, I think the watch has held up well with semi-frequent 3-5x a week wear leading up to Covid times. I must note that I am not a careful watch wearer and do not baby it at all, this watch has seen its fair share of railings, door handles, and tabletops. The most obvious areas of wear are on the bracelet links, half of which are brushed and half of which are shiny, the shiny links are where you can see scratches (here - the 2 shiny links above the face, and here on the back). There have also been quite a few times where I have foolishly used my hand to try and stop elevator doors from closing and had the doors close on the watch, and I'd say that's where the majority of the big scratches are from. The sapphire crystal, however, is in pristine shape and there are no scratches there.
In terms of keeping time, mine is battery operated and has not needed a battery change yet, and is still keeping time perfectly.
Review
  • Quality - 9.5/10 The watch feels weighty and solid, it has a really good heft to it that just feels very satisfying and 'expensive'. The clasp works smoothly and has not loosened in the last year, it also has never spontaneously unclasped while being worn. The links fit well together, and this may be a personal problem but I've noticed that some watch bracelets catch my arm hair and this never has (joy to no sudden pinches). The reason I took off 0.5 is that the sides of the links feel a little bit sharp. It's not enough to cause any discomfort or scratch me, but it's just a little unusual because the rest of the watch and links are so smooth. I suppose if they were beveled the bracelet wouldn't have as crisp of a look, and it truly doesn't bother me much.
  • Accuracy - 10/10 This is one of those watches noted as NWBG (not worth buying genuine) on various watch forums and there was an anecdote of one user who mixed the V6F version with his in law's genuine version and then later they couldn't tell them apart. From my untrained eye, everything looks good. For the crown/dial, the tiny Cartier text is hidden in the VII marker, the stone in the blue knob is the correct shade, and the blue tone on the hands are also the correct shade. For the bracelet and back, there are the correct engravings for Cartier on both the back and on the middle clasp link, with 'SWISS MADE' on the side clasp links. I will say that I did not go as far to check if the serial numbers match up to what they should be, but there are the correct number of numerals/letters and it does not say 'Automatic' (because it's not).
  • Satisfaction - 10/10 Even though the watch I received is different from what I originally wanted, I'm super happy with the watch and don't feel the need to get the other one (for the curious, this is the one I ordered). The guilloche face is absolutely beautiful and adds dimension in a very understated but still eye catching way. A year later, I think the wear and scratches on the bracelet make it feel lived in and loved. Were it a genuine watch, I'd be stressing out over every scratch. THIS is why I love reps, they allow me to use and enjoy my items fully without taking them too seriously due to their cost.
  • Seller - 8/10 There were a couple of worrisome weeks in the process when I didn't hear back or get a clear response from Sead, but I am glad that everything worked out and I received a watch I am very pleased with. Prior to the watch getting lost in the mail, he was very responsive and honest in telling me to avoid a gold colored version for longevity.
** Edited to add: after I received the watch, I didn't follow up with Sead or try to correct it because I liked the watch, so no fault on his part in the aftermath.

Ryujehong Shares His Gear, NVIDIA, Mouse & Overwatch Settings

Source: https://www.gearrate.com/en/ryujehong-shares-his-gear-nvidia-mouse-overwatch-settings/

When it comes to the best player in the history of Overwatch, Ryujehong‘s name is always mentioned. As a 2-time APEX champion and 2-time World Cup gold medalist, he has one of the best accomplishments ever.
He has endless amounts of highlight reels, and you can easily spend hours watching him make crazy plays after crazy plays.
Combined with his skills and funny personality, he is also one of the biggest Overwatch streamers as well.
We had a chance to ask him about what gear he uses, mouse driver settings, NVIDIA settings and Overwatch settings.
Let’s take a look.

First thing he mentioned is that you need to use gear and settings that are comfortable for you. Because otherwise, you may not play your best.

Mouse: Logitech MX518 Legendary
Ryujehong has been using the Logitech MX518 series mice for a long time. In fact, it’s the first gaming mouse he ever used.
He got used to it and still continues to use it.

Grip Style
He uses palm grip to hold the MX 518. At first he didn’t even know about different grip styles – he just used a grip that he felt was natural to him.
Later, he would find out about three different grip styles and learn that he is using palm grip.
As with his mouse, he continues to use palm grip because he’s used to it now.

Right-handed Ergonomic Shape
When he first started using gaming mice, there was only one ambidextrous mouse available to him. And he did not like it.
He felt more comfortable using a right-handed ergonomic mouse, MX518 Legendary.

Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Lite
Ryujehong doesn’t like having keypads, so he decided to use the Razer Blackwidow Lite keyboard.
If he uses a full-size keyboard, that will take up more space and he will have to reach his left arm farther.
But with a tenkeyless keyboad, the WASD keys are closer and he can have his arm at a comfortable distance.
He also gets to save some desk space.

Razer Orange Key Switch
Ryujehong likes the Razer Orange key switches. He heard that it’s similar to Cherry MX Red(it’s actually closer to Cherry MX Brown).
Other key switches he tried tend to make his hand stiff. But that doesn’t happen when he uses Razer Orange, and he also likes the actuation point.

Windows Key Removed
Ryujehong removed the Windows Key from his keyboard.
In his practice facility, Overwatch would randomly get minimized for some reason.
So he thought he was accidentally pressing the Windows key, and removed the Windows key.
However, later he found out that it was actually a problem with his computer.
He lost the Windows key by then, so he just plays with no Windows key now.

Keyboard Feet
Ryujehong puts his keyboard at the edge of his desk.
So if the keyboard is flat on the desk, he has to curl his fingers to reach the keys.
He solves that by using the keyboard feet. His fingers can be at more comfortable position while the keyboard is elevated.

Headset #1: David Clark H-USB
David Clark H-USB is the headset used during Overwatch League season 1 and 2, as well as homestand matches in season 3.

Headset #2: Razer Kraken V2 – Quartz Pink
Outside of OWL matches, Ryujehong uses Razer Kraken V2 in Quartz Pink color.
He just liked how unique the color is, so he decided to use it.

Monitor: HP Omen X 25
HP Omen X 25 is the monitor used for OWL matches. Also all the players during season 2 of the Overwatch League used this monitor during practice.
Ryujehong continues to use it because he got used to it now.

240Hz
He got to experience 240Hz monitor all the way back in 2016, when it was not widely available yet.
He really liked how smooth the screen looked, so he always had in mind that he wants to use it someday.
That became true when the inaugural season of Overwatch League started, when all the monitors on stage were 240 Hz.
He continues to use 240 Hz even today.

No Screen Size Preferenes
As long as the monitor is not shaped like ultrawide monitors or anything like that, he doesn’t have a preference in screen size.
He just uses 24.5″ monitor now because he got used to the HP Omen X 25.

Mousepad: Steelseries QcK Heavy – Large
Ryujehong has been using the Steelseries QcK Heavy mousepad since he was young.
It has enough friction that he can stop his mouse quickly.
He tried different mousepads such as glass mousepads. But he didn’t like how slippery it was, and the grinding noise it makes.
Cloth mousepad – specifically QcK Heavy – felt right for him, so he continues to use it.
He tries to replace his mousepad with a brand new QcK Heavy once every month.

Chair: COX Voyager
COX is a Korean company that makes chairs as well as other computer peripherals.
Unfortunately, it is currently unavailable in the United States.
Ryujehong doesn’t have much preferences in gaming chairs, but he needs adjustable arm rests.
He has seen a lot of gaming chairs with straight arm rests that can’t be adjusted, and they are not comfortable for him.

Mouse Bungee: Zowie Camade
As with many of his other gear, Zowie Camade is the first mouse bungee Ryujehong used.
He tried other mouse bungee such as QUAD Gaming Rock, but the cables would pop out when he moved his mouse too strong.

Logitech G Hub Settings
DPI Settings
Ryujehong has 2 DPI’s in his profile, 400 and 800.
He usually uses 400 DPI, but in certain situations he switches to 800 DPI with the on-the-fly DPI adjust button.
For example, if he has to turn 180 quickly, or if his mouse is at the end of the mousepad but he needs to go more, he changes the DPI to 800.

Polling Rate Settings
The higher the polling rate, the faster your mouse position gets reported to the computer. So he uses 1000 Hz, which is the highest available.

NVIDIA Settings
Ryujehong’s old computers used to have bad specs, so he used to turn most options off in NVIDIA Control Panel.
He still uses the same settings today. Here are Ryujehong’s NVIDIA settings:
3D Settings
Vertical sync: Off
Shader Cache: Off
Threaded optimization: On
Antialiasing – Mode: Off
Antialiasing – Gamma correction: On
Anisotropi filtering: Off

[Question] Help me decide: automatic or eco-drive?

I'm really having a hard time making up my mind. I've thought mechanical watches were really cool for a long time so my first inclination was to get an automatic.
But, I also really like my watches to be accurate within a minute or two at least, so with an automatic (at least one I can justify affording) that means a lot of setting, probably every couple of days. When for the same price I could grab an eco-drive and not really have to worry about it as much, with the same benefit of not really having to mess with batteries.
Was considering an Orient Mako II for an auto, and probably either a Citizen BN0150 or CA0649 (since I *also* think chronographs are neat and they're attainable in a quartz movement, but I absolutely can't swing a mechanical chrono right now).
So...anyone have experience being apprehensive about mechanical accuracy? And did you overcome it or does it still bug you? (or opinions on any of the watches I mentioned).

[REVIEW] Omega Constellation 27mm Automatic Movement

I N T R O: 💬
I wanted a watch that I could use if I travelled abroad and was afraid I’d misplace mine especially since I will soon be a new mom. Anna has been posting watches on her moments for a while and I decided to try getting one from her. I have a small watch collection and this would be my first rep. My collection consists of Omega, Cartier, Mido, Tudor (vintage made by Rolex), and Michele. I’m pretty familiar with watches and the quality but my father is an expert and immediately knows if it’s a rep from a distance. So, I dove deep into RepTime & the RWI forum (spent a week before deciding on which factory was the one I wanted to go with). After going on the forum I appreciate how Repladies does their reviews and info on factories SO MUCH MORE because it is so easy to obtain. Out of all of the TS that RepTime & RWI recommended, Anna had the best price. Plus I didn’t feel comfortable sending my CC info to pay on these watch sites even though thousands of people bought from them. Once again I am lucky that I got my order so fast! I read reviews on RepTime waiting longer for their watches.
** R E V I E W: 📄**
  • Seller’s name TS Anna (I contacted via accessories/clothing WeChat cdd18142829936) I truly wonder if she ever sleeps because she is so fast in responding
  • Price of item 1170+215=1385 CNY ($197)
  • Payment method PP
Order timeline 5/4 paid
5/8 received PSPs
5/11 received tracking FedEx
5/22 received
**Photos** 🖼
It was pretty hard finding auth photos for this watch since there are so many variations. I provided two links of similar watches.
**Quality - 8/10** ⌚️
Okay, so the weight of the watch feels pretty accurate. My auth constellation is a quartz movement and has a weight to it despite it being smaller (24mm). The movement definitely has a weight (a good sign for Omega). I put the watch against my ear to hear how it sounded, and I must say the sound of the movement is weaker compared to my other two watches with an automatic movement as well. It also sounds slower. I compared it to my automatic Tudor, Mido, & husband’s Breitling just to see if it’s because of the brand difference but they all sound stronger compared to the rep.
I’m a little disappointed in the smell of the watch since it clearly smells like metal. None of my watches have this scent so I’m hoping it won’t rust. The satin finish also is not cool to touch and is not silky smooth. Over time my auth has become even more smooth feeling but when I first received it I cannot recall it feeling rough in any way. The rep feels rougher when you rub your finger against it and leaves fingerprints on it.
I will point out that this is an amazing mid tier rep because it’s not easy to copy the typography. Most reps from what I saw are usually too thin or the spacing of the font is off.
**Accuracy - 8.25/10** 🧐
I would not wear this to an Omega boutique but would anywhere else. There are so many variations of the constellation even I cannot find the exact version of my auth from 14 years ago. I am EXTREMELY impressed with how well the appearance looks. If you don’t know watches I’m 100% sure you cannot tell whether or not it is a rep or auth. If you do know the brand very well and have it in your hands you can tell immediately that this is a rep. The main giveaway was the satin finish. When holding it, it’s not as smooth and silky feeling. Not everything is inaccurate and I have listed the below with what I found:
  • This watch has a Co-Axial 8520 movement which is correct since constellations can have that or 8500/8501. Not sure what the current movement should be for 2020 but this was not an issue.
  • Mother of Pearl face appears to be like the auth (I have not seen this particular design in person since there are a lot of variations)
  • It self winds in both directions
  • The placement of the Omega logo on the face, the “Constellation”, and “Co-Axial Chronometer” are correct
  • The calendar window is correct shape (could be round or rectangular)
  • The Roman numerals appears to be the correct density and are in the correct position (I think they could be thicker but it’s hard to tell; not deducting for that)
I deducted the below:
  • -0.25 when adjusting the date you typically rotate the crown clockwise. For the rep you turn counterclockwise and clockwise to wind up the watch (unless you have a watch box that can do that for you of course won’t be necessary).
  • -0.25 the omega symbol on the clasp is not as deeply engraved as the auth & does not open as smoothly as the auth (considering using a little WD40 🤷🏻‍♀️)
  • -0.25 Swiss made typography on the face is a little too thick on the “made” portion
  • -1.00 The satin finish is not as smooth feeling as the auth. You can feel the difference and there is a lingering metal scent. This is the biggest giveaway so I deducted a full point.
**Satisfaction - 10/10**😀
I extremely satisfied with my first rep watch. I was debating between this one or the Cartier Tank Francaise from 8848 but what made me go with the Omega was because I did not like how the typography on the Cartier looked compared to the auth. I knew immediately from the photos I requested from various TS that it wasn’t for me. Plus I had the opportunity to compare it to my own if the same line just different size and face color. I can’t wait to take out a few links and wear it properly in the future 🥳 (yes I do it myself because I don’t trust other jewelers on how they handle my watches).
**Seller Communication and Service - 10/10** 📱
I will forever buy from Anna. She responds in Chinese which is not an issue thanks to the translate option in WeChat. Also don’t know how she responds so fast meanwhile she is posting 10000 other things on her moments and responding to other people. I don’t think she’s a watch expert but she definitely knows which factory is good. I never ask for tracking info since she automatically sends it over once it’s ready 😊

SARB065 Cocktail Time

This watch needs no introduction. I bought this watch almost brand new off back in 2016. I only wore this watch a hand full of times, since it was a bit too dressy for my daily wear as a student. So the watch is still in almost new condition, with no noticeable scratches on the sapphire crystal and no noticeable scratches on the watch case.
The Cocktail time also has full kit, including the box and papers, original tags, and also the OEM unworn black leather band with the Seiko deployment clasps. SARB065

SPC155P1 Seiko Quartz Chronograph

This was my alternative to the Flightmaster, which I could not find anywhere, when I wanted to add a Chronograph to the collection. I am actually very happy with this lowkey find as it is very classy and beautiful to look at. The watch has a white textured dial, blue hands and blue applied numbers that look great together. The chrono feature runs great, with the second hand smoothly sweeping. And the framed, applied date window adds a lot of class to this watch. The watch is in great condition, with no scratch on the mineral crystal. The watch case is also in great condition, with a small dent on the non-crown side which has been shown in the pictures.
Watch case is 42mm diameter, and 13mm thickness. The watch comes with a grey nato strap. The watch also comes with full kit, box and papers and includes the original OEM unworn black leather strap. Chrono

Orient Symphony

I received this watch as a present, but did not get the chance to wear it often. It has probably only been worn a handful of times since I got it a few years ago. It has a beautiful black dial, with applied indices and a very pretty display back. The watch crystal and case are practically spotless. And this watch is keeping surprisingly accurate time.
This watch comes with box and papers, as well as OEM unworn black strap. Symphony

Orient Bambino

This was my first watch and the start of my collection. I bought this watch brand new from Amazon back in 2015. Because of that, this is the first generation, not the revamped second version. So this version does not have manual winding or hacking seconds hand.
This watch was worn a lot, so it does have wear around the case, but nothing significant, only regular wear. The watch crystal remains unscratched and overall is still in good condition, but there is a small black dot in between 1 and 2 on the crystal which has been shown in the pictures.
This watch comes with box and papers, as well as OEM unworn leather strap. I am also including a blue perlon strap that goes well with the blue hands. Bambino

Raketa Copernicus

This watch I got off eBay a few years ago when I started to get interested in Soviet watches. It is a beautiful, unique and interesting piece that did not get much wear. It is actually keeping great time given its age. The round, planet-like hands are very unique, and the watch dial actually has a very fine black detail, similar to the night sky. This watch is very unique and a great compact timepiece, great for a small wrist.
This watch comes with a black nato strap. Raketa

Timex

I got this watch of eBay a few years ago when I wanted to add a vintage watch into my collection. This watch has a very vintage feel, with the roman numerals and the big block hands. Because this watch is vintage, it is very well-worn. It has lots of scratches on both the case and the crystal. The back is also very scratched up.
The production code on the watch dial is 26550 02574. This means that is was made in 1974.
This watch is manual wind only. And the date window has no fast set, so you have to manually spin the hour hands twice over to advance the date.
The dimensions are 33mm diameter, 39mm lug to lug.
This watch comes with a brown zulu strap. Marlin

Orient Ray II

This watch is not in working condition. I think it has water damage so the movement does not keep time. I have not included pictures, but the watch it self if also pretty worn out. I am willing to let this watch go at any price, and will take pictures if anyone is interested. This watch is only sold for parts, would be good if anyone is trying to get into watch making/repair.

[Let’s Build] 100 Mythical Magical Items That Might Just End Your Campaign

Legend tells of swords that can chop off dragon heads with a single stroke, staves that can call down meteors from the sky, rings that grant their bearer any wish.
Well I want bigger.
1) Planerender: A magical battle axe which has an edge honed by the gods (or other denizens) themselves, and is able to cut through atoms. Use with extreme caution.
2) Kronos’ Pocketwatch: A ticking contraption that distorts the air around it with thrumming vibrations. You can cast the spell Time Stop at will. The spell lasts until dispelled instead of 1d4+1 turns and you may move an unlimited distance away from your starting point, but still ends as otherwise directed or if you take an action to end it.
3) Grinning Demise: This foreboding skull gives off a palpable aura of hate and despair. It takes 24 hours of continuous focus to activate this skull. When you do, you take 20d6 necrotic damage, and each creature within 100 miles of you takes 10d6 necrotic damage.
4) Orb of the Leviathan: A clear gem containing a Kraken, as per the Imprisonment spell. The condition for the spell’s end is unknown.
5) Endbringer: A dagger carved with intricate designs and ornate patterns all depicting the End of Times, Ragnerök, the Rapture. Every 100 kills with this weapon lowers the temperature of the material plane by 1 degree and lowers all creatures’ hit points by 1. The attacks also drain 5 of 1 ability score of the wielders choice from the target.
6) Mechanus'es Controlling Contraption: Each day at dawn you may summon d10 modrons from the plane of Mechanus. They obey your every order until they die. At the end of each day, if you used this item, roll a percentile die. If the number you rolled is equal or greater to the total number of modrons you have summoned (in total), the great army of modrons/duodrons etc. appers in material plane with the sole objective of finding you and taking the device back. (u/area51raidsurvivior)
7) Liquid lichdom: This disgusting potion, when consumed, instantly turns you into a lich with, the bottle left after the cursed potion acting as your phylactery. Every lich created this way knows how to brew another one of these potions. (u/area51raidsurvivior)
8) The Ballad of Fate: A collection of ancient sheet music detailing an incredibly intricate musical piece. The notes dance across the page with arcane energy, making it impossible to understand by all but the most prolific musicians. When played correctly, it can change the very fabric of reality. Spend one weeks worth of downtime to learn the song, playing it allows you to change a single event from any point in history so long as the musician has heard of the event. After correctly playing the Ballad, the music disappears. Despite any efforts taken, the song cannot be fully remembered to be played a second time. The changes occur immediately, and all but those who heard the song directly act as though the changed event had always transpired thusly. The ramifications of this change cannot possibly be predicted, and can be as far flung as the DM wishes. (u/Jorlen01)
9) The Cursed Pickaxe of April Fools: Some evil deity found it amusing to create a magical pickaxe that always finds water when used on the soil, however, you get one percent chance for it to be Styx water, extending the river to the plane you used the pickaxe in and welcoming demons to chime in. (u/TheSeraphOfChaos)
10) The Staff of Fire Power: A legendary artifact of the god of Smithing know to his followers as the M61 Vulcan Cannon. it was enchanted by the god such that it is man portable and every single one of the 20mm rounds is hand forged by the god himself. (u/Ninjacat24390)
11) The Wealth of Generations
At first glance, this item resembles a normal copper piece with a "heads" side and a "tails" side, but on closer inspection does not belong to the currency of any known economy. When found, the coin has five charges. It can be placed upon a pile of currency or nonmagical trade goods and, may be activated by using one of the charges and speaking the coin's command phrase: "I'd like to make a wager."
Upon activation, all items in the contiguous pile (all items touching at least one other item in the pile) vanish and the coin bounces onto a flat surface and begins to spin. The coin will spin for five seconds. Call heads or tails. If you call correctly, the currency or nonmagical goods the coin was placed on will reappear in twice the quantity (currency) or volume/value (goods) as when it vanished. If you call incorrectly, your bet is lost and whatever you wagered cannot be recovered. If you fail to call heads or tails before the coin stops spinning, it will stop on its edge and the wagered items will return, no addition or reduction in quantity or value.
The coin regains three charges every New Year's Day (or on the festival of the god of Luck.God of Fate). The coin can never have more than seven charges. (u/angrymeatball)
11) Gaia's Veins
A seed that, when planted and fed a large amount of blood, will sprout into a suffocatingly thick mass of vines that will endlessly grow in every direction at a rate of 5 feet/hour, forever. These vines are completely, totally indestructible and can only be undone with by wishing away up to a month of growth, or returning it to seed form if small enough. (u/TheNinthGamer)
12) Mask of the Beast: This horrifying mask gives the wielder the ability to cast true polymorph as a bonus action. This mask has a mind of its own however and will cause the mask wearer to slowly lose their mind to the wild. It secretly has 1d6 uses, and the last time the wear casts true polymorph, they lose their minds to fully become the creature they change into and attack their fellow adventurers. (u/Pythagorascultist)
13) Ring of Wishes: Cannot be worn by any non CHAOTIC alignment. Imbues the wearer with the ability to grant wishes to others. (u/DrBeefsome)
14) Keystone of the Night
This is a small, black, triangular stone, about the size of a human's fist. Engraved in the center is a spiralling rune. Any mortal who doesn't know what the stone is can touch it to a door or arch and command it to open. When this occurs, the door becomes a portal to the Plane of Negative Energy, and a wave of necrotic power utterly destroys any creature within 1/8 mile of it. For every souled creature destroyed in this way, the portal will remain open for 1 hour (additive). The portal releases another wave of energy every night at midnight, but the range doubles every wave.
When it closes, the Keystone dissolves into black dust and reappears at a random location on the same plane. (u/Holy_Hand_Grenadier)
15) The Dealer's Desk: A set of 2 chairs and a desk. imwhen arranged properly and when a humanoid sits in the smaller chair a man will appear, invisible to all but the one sitting in the chair. The humanoid will give an offer, one thing the person desperately wants in exchange for one thing he/she loves of equal value. If he/she agrees the deal will follow through and everything will happen TO THE LETTER but not beypmond it. WORD YOUR DESIRES WISELY (u/Alecsixnine)
16) Deadly Bow: any arrow fired from this bow flies with unnatural accuracy, instantly delivering a lethal, instant death blow to the closest living thing.
Closest living thing.
Instant death. (u/Mat_The_Duck_Lord)
17) Crossbow of Anchoring
This seemingly normal crossbow has a unique property. Any thing hit by a bolt fired from this crossbow becomes Anchored into the Ethereal Plane, unable to escape outside of a Wish Spell or Pure Divine Power. (Read: A Major God) (u/Sgt-Butter)
18) The Cat's Cradle: a phial containing 9 small ice crystals that remain frozen at/above room temperature. If the crystals come into contact with liquid water, they act as seeds, causing any adjacent water molecules to arrange themselves into the same solid crystalline structure.
Freeze a creature! Freeze a planet! Freeze an elemental plane! (u/Azwethinkweizm7)
19) The Summonring Circle
The Summonring Circle appears to be an iron ring with a distinct yet unremarkable hammered finish. Upon activation with a magic word, it can be used to summon a magical or mundane item that the owner wishes, after which it falls inert.
That was the original maker's intent, at least. They failed in that 1) the ring can only summon a few additional Summonring Circles and 2) the magic word is literally any spoken word. Speaking a sentence within earshot of a single one will spawn a few more, each of which will spawn a few more, etc.
All existing Summonring Circles were taken from a castle packed full of them, the corpses of its former inhabitants found crushed to death with lungs full of identical iron rings. Though all were thought to have been melted down to nonmagical iron, a few are rumored to still be floating around. (u/ceilius)
20) Naglfar, the Nail Ship: A giant-sized drakkar composed entirely of the fingernails of dead men, any mortal who steps foot on Naglfar is instantly slain and returned as an intelligent undead 1d4 hours later. The captain of this vessel may Plane Shift it and all of its passengers at will. Upon arriving at any destination, the presence of the ship will immediately desecrate whatever body of water it arrives in, animating the corpses of all creatures within that body as well as summoning a continuous stream of undead spirits from its deck. (u/Pidgewiffler)
21) The Absolute Immovable Rod: Upon activation, this rod retains its place relative to the entire universe, and cannot be moved by any amount of force. (u/Pidgewiffler)
22) Crown of the Dragon King
Anyone who puts this crown on immediately morphs, gaining dragon-like features, growing wings (flying speed 60ft), gaining a scaled body (gives AC = 14 + Dex) and even being able to breathe fire (damage and effects equivalent to that of an Adult Dragons breath). This morph is painful to the user and will revert if the crown is to be removed, which cannot be done unwillingly as the crown has a magical bond to its wearer.
Also, while wearing this crown, you have a telepathic link with any dragons you have interacted with, and they will obey you as if you are their king. Some may attempt to defy you, viewing you as false or unworthy, at which point they will hunt you down, destroying anything in their path. (u/playmike5)
23) Sol Stone: a stone of clear quartz like crystal approximately 8" long and 5" wide, and weighs 2lb. The stone when inactive gives the bearer advantage on fire/ radiant saves. It is mostly know for this property so it is sought by creatures harmed by these energies. However, it absorbs these energies and once it has absorbed 2d6x10 HP of these energies it becomes active. Once it is active the stone becomes the center of a sphere of fire 5' in diameter. Immediately does 3d6 fire and radiant damage to all creatures in the square it inhabits and then all creatures in base contact with it save vs. Dex, saves half damage. all flammable materials in 10' ignite. every other round the sphere expands 5'. It continues to do this damage until it is 50' in diameter. It casts bright light 60' and dim light an additional 30'
At 50' in diameter it now does 6d6 fire and radiant damage and acts as a siege engine doing double damage to all structures and terrain. If underground it will melt rocks and burst soils as it expands. it will expand 5' every minute until it is 150' in diameter. it casts bright light 120' away from it's surface and dim light 60' beyond that.
At 150' in diameter the air temperature within 500' of the sphere is 150F degrees and all creatures must make a save vs Con or take one point of exhaustion along with the 6d6 fire and radiant damage within 500' of the surface of the sphere. Regional Effects: all vegetation within 100' of the sphere will ignite. Lakes, ponds, streams, will be evaporated. It will continue to grow 5' every minute until it reaches 500' in diameter. it is blinding light up to 240' from it's surface (save vs. Dex or blinded condition for 2d4 rounds), bright light 240' beyond that, and dim light for half a mile beyond that.
At 500' in diameter the following regional effects happen: any creature within 1 mile of the sphere takes 6D6 fire and radiant damage every round. any flammable substance will ignite within 1000' of the surface of the sphere. A strong wind will emanate from the sphere pushing any existing forest fires 20' a round. This wind will begin to make the sphere levitate vertically until it is exactly 1 radius above the ground (250'). once it reaches this height double the effect radius. all creatures that want to move toward the sphere must make a save vs strength or can only move 5' toward it. flying creatures must make a Save vs. Dex. failures crash to the ground. The sphere will continue to grow 10' in radius every hour until it reaches 1000' in diameter. The sphere casts daylight for 10 miles from it's surface.
Once it reaches 1000' it explodes causing 6d6 Fire, radiant, thunder damage to every creature within 100 miles of the epicenter of the sphere. The explosion will automatically knockdown all structures with less than 100 HP, it will ignite all forests, vegetation and flammable objects within that range. all creatures within that 100 mile radius must save vs Dex or be deafened and blinded for 1d6 days. in the center of the crater will be nothing but the Sol Stone.
The growth of the sphere can not be stopped with water, ice or cold magic. if the sphere is moved using magic the affects are not stopped the epicenter just moves, spreading the damage/ effects as it goes. The sol stone has a threshold of 10hp a DR to slashing piercing and a total of 30hp. if broken in it's inactive state it will shatter into 2d4 pieces, each has the same properties as the inactive state stone. Only a wish spell can stop its expansion. to recognize an inactive Sol stone is an Arcana check DC 12, to know what it's active state looks like is an Arcana check DC 20. The burning sphere can be teleported, plane shifted and if still small enough pushed through a dimension door. If placed in a portable hole it is frozen at the point in time but not extinguished. even in the elemental plane of water it will go through it's stages of destruction. on the elemental plane of fire it will give birth to 2d6x10 fire elemental creatures when it explodes. (total elapsed time from activation to explosion is 65h and 53m ) (u/OctopusMugs)
24) The Gauntlets of K'Kōn: It is said that the great Forge-master K'Kōn crafted these gauntlets in order to grasp the Fires of Creation and use them to reshape the world; but their creation was clumsy and imperfect, and the Fires burned their hands. In anger, these gauntlets were discarded as flawed. (Wondrous Item, Unique) Requires Attunement; Gain Immunity to Fire Damage, Resistance to Radiant Damage. As an Action, up to 1d6 times per day, the wearer may grow in size as the spell Enlarge, for up to 1 minute at a time, but must take DISADV on DEX checks and saves while they do so. Additionally, while Enlarged; in lieu of the extra 1d4 damage that a melee weapon deals, if the weapon wielded by the wearer is of hammer-type (such as a warhammer) damage dice is instead doubled; but not increased if the weapon is not of a hammer-type. (u/MaxSizels)
25) Six Degrees
This black-bodied revolver is patterned with golden inlays. They form intricate patterns of skeletal hands, each one clutching desperately to its neighbors. Blood constantly leaks from the six empty cylinders, onto the user's hand. Despite that, the ivory handle always provides a perfect grip.
The hammer can be cocked up to six times consecutively. Each time the hammer is cocked back, its damage is propagated one additional degree of separation from the primary victim. The wielder is not protected from this propagation. (u/joabsk)
26) Rod of Sentience:
The Rod is entirely made out of a bone of unknown origins, the top of the rod being a brain with numerous runic symbols on it.
When activated, it emits an electric field (15 foot radius) giving any object in range a humanoid transformation, slowly becoming more and more of a person, while giving people +4 to their Intelligence Score.
The Rod is continually active, unless you use one of 2 charges on it to stop it.
If the effects keeps going on for an hour or more, the beam refines and becomes more precise, for example the clothes of the wielder might transform, then the clothe's buttons and dye start to transform too, meanwhile the wielder's hair, eyeballs, feet, etc... becomes sentient, then their very Cells, the Cell's nucleus, ... and so more.
The Beam keeps continually emitting the beam, even when ITSELF becomes a humanoid, and it can only be deactivated by a wish spell, or breaking the "brain" (which destroys everything it has gived sentience in the process) (u/Toilet-Oil-Doyle)
26) 𝕹𝖊𝖈𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖆𝖓𝖈𝖊𝖗'𝖘 𝖉𝖊𝖑𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙
This is a staff made by the mage League- a secret organisation of the most powerful sorcerers, wizards and men of divine knowledge on how to make artifacts. Those chosen have created most of the magical items in world, both common as health and mana potions recipes now produced everywhere, and cursed with unlimited power. This particular artifact was made by a nameless necromancer, who wished to be accepted by the League, but ignored. In his spite he spend ages of mastering his powers until one day he created the most destructive staff ever made, this fact being reinforced by complete destruction of the League and information about it.
This staff is rather simple- it has 3 charges. Spend one charge to summon a skeleton. The skeleton is wielding the last weapon user wielded today (except necromancer's delight of course). The summoned skeleton immediately makes his turn. He is attacking whoever attacked his summoner. But here is a catch- if user didn't wield any weapon, the skeleton will have... necromancer's delight. You already know what will happen. The skeleton appears, summons skeleton. That skeleton summons skeleton and so on. Endless bonery. (u/Username0259)
27) Ultimate Wand of Nullification
Can be used to eliminate anything from the universe, plane of existence, etc. However, there is a high chance of the user and others being erased from existence as well. (u/ken_NT)
28+1) Soul Stealer: a sword which absorbs the soul of the ones it killed and stocks them in a demi-plane shared with its twin sword: Soul Giver.
Soul Giver: a sword which can release the souls captured by Soul Stealer. If one would be to stab himself with it while releasing the souls, all of them would go on to inhabit him, granting him all the capacities, strength and life expenctancy of the all the captured souls. But the bearer would need an extraordinary strong mind as to not go mad and lose control of all the different souls sharing his body. (u/Fony64)
29) Blackcleave
This ancient ebony blade is said to have been forged by three demon lords for the purposes of killing a god. Its pommel is a small amber orb which allows the wielder to cast imprisonment at will, and the blade itself deals damage equal to the maximum hp of the creature imprisoned inside. (u/CaraKino)
30) The Amulet of Samarkand
A pale green stone, set in a bronze oval pendant. The bronze is engraved with the images of running horses. The amulet is rough, almost primitive in design, but filled with a power beyond mortal comprehension.
When worn, any and all magical effects (including but not limited to arcane, holy, demonic, necrotic, fae or otherwise supernatural energies) cast at or near the wearer are absorbed and neutralized by the amulet. Any magical item placed against the amulet will become magically inert, and cannot be restored. Any extraplanar entities (such as elementals, djinni, spirits, demons or similar) that come into contact with the amulet are absorbed and neutralized. The wearer cannot be effected by reality warping magic such as the Wish spell, or any effects from the Deck of Many Things. The wearer suffers no negative repercussions from the amulet's effects. (u/Selacha)
31) The Wand of Absolute Truths
When activated it forces all players (specifically not characters) to turn to each other and, in order, list all the things they don't like about each other. (u/Kiyohara)
32) The Necronomicon: This book is bound in human skin. Upon reading it, the reader gains an indefinite madness, and every corpse on the plane is raised as undead. These corpses are raised even if they were protected by spells such as gentle repose or hallow. (u/ApostleO)
33) Pouch of Everlasting Snacks: This handsome belt pouch always contains a handful of "road snacks"... a mix of nuts, dried fruit, pretzel bits, and so on. (u/sonofabutch)
34) A Normal Button
This item is a aluminum square with a side of 15cm and a height of 4cm. A red button 6cm in diameter and 3cm in height sits at the center.
Warnings similar to “Do not press”, “Ignore” have been roughly carved to the base on multiple languages.
Any intelligent creature who sees the button must pass a DC 10 saving throw or it will start wanting to press the button. For each 10 minutes it remains within sight, that creature must repeat the saving throw, the DC increasing by 1.
Once a creature has failed a saving throw, they will have to subject to another roll even if the button is not within sight, once a day, the DC still increasing each time. With each failure, the need to press the button increases exponentially.
Whatever happens after pressing the button is up for the DM to decide (u/Pavoazul)
35) Odin's Spear
+4 Spear
Automatically succeeds any attack roll made with it.
As long as you're on the same plane of existence, if you speak the command word as a bonus action, the spear will fly to your hand at a rate of one mile per round.
Odin's spear has 20 Charges which can be spent in the following ways.
Find Familiar (summoning ravens) (1 charge) Teleportation Circle (5 charges) Plane Shift (5 charges) Thunderous Smite (2 charges per spell level used)
All spent charges are regained at dawn. (u/St_BobJoe)
36) The Dice of Fate - a set of seven twenty-sided colored crystal dice.
When a die is rolled, it will completely rewrite one aspect of the universe. Each die is tied to one aspect, but as they are identical, you’ll have to roll one to find out what it affects.
The aspects are Time (purple), Matter (gold), Life/Death(marbled green and black), Sentience(white), Planar Separation(blue), Magic(constantly changing color), and Force(Gray).
Each die has different effects when rolled:
Time:
• Freeze time completely, or slow it to a crawl • Reverse the laws of Cause and Effect. Basically, you can move a rock without exerting force on it. But for literally any task. • Transport the roller 10,000 years into the future or past • Reverse the flow of time, causing the universe to rewind to its beginning and then beyond.
Matter:
• instantly deletes all physical matter within a 20-foot radius of the die. • doubles or halves the density of a common substance (water, air, blood, steel, etc) • burns a hole through whatever the die was rolled on, causing it to drop to the ground and potentially roll again from the fall. • anything and everything the user touches becomes made of any material they choose, with no impact on the object’s function. Clothes, people, plants... dice. These things weren’t always quartz, you know.
Life/Death:
• instantly remove life from all creatures within a 20 foot radius. They are not KILLED per se, they are just no longer alive. Nothing short of a wish can bring them back, and their souls don’t go to the underworld or whatever the equivalent is in your setting. • over the next 5 SECONDS, all living things that have ever died in a 1-mile radius are brought back to life. Their bodies are not restored. That fossil 100 feet underground? Alive. The casualties of the Battle of the Red Valley? Living Skeletons. • instantly removes life from all creatures in a 20-foot radius EXCEPT the roller. • every nanosecond, life is removed from one cell in the roller’s body. If the roller is not technically alive, the same effect is applied in a 5-foot radius around them. This effect follows the roller and lasts forever.
Sentience:
• instantly gives sentience to every living thing within one mile. • randomly swaps around the minds of every sentient being in a 1d10 mile radius. • turns the roller into a mental vegetable by ceasing all higher brain function. • allows the roller to cast Greater Awakening at will.
Planar Separation:
• opens a portal to a random elemental plane inside the roller’s lungs • the current plane is duplicated exactly, and the original is completely deleted. All the PCs now have to deal with the truth that they are not the original PCs. • merges two random planes into one.
Magic:
• roller can cast any 9th-level spell of their choice once per day. • Magic is erased from the universe as a whole. Spells and spell-like abilities have no effect, and all magical effects are immediately dispelled. • roll on the 10,000 random effects table 5d10 times. • every creature in a 1 mile radius gains 20 levels in either Wizard, Sorcerer, Bard, Warlock, Cleric, or Druid. • all natural 20s count as natural 1s, forever. • all natural 1s count as natural 20s, forever. • roll 3 additional times on the magic die effect list.
Force:
• the planet’s gravity is halved or doubled • the nearest star now burns half or double as hot and bright • Mage Hand’s maximum weight is multiplied by 10. This effect can stack. • any single instance of damage over 15 will instantly kill any creature, regardless of their current hit points and death saves. (u/FlyingSpy)
37) The Sultan’s Chessboard: a standard chess board, carved from fine ebony and bloodwood. Any small, non magical, single item placed in a corner square will disappear at nightfall, only to reappear doubled in the second square at dawn. The items may be withdrawn at anytime, but if they are left in the second square, they will again disappear and reappear doubled in the third square. This will continue every day until the items reach the final square, when you will now have 264 items in the last square. The chessboard increases in size accordingly so that all items fit inside the square. (u/WSHII)
38) The Orb of Unnihlation: this object appears identical to a standard Orb of Annihlation and any attempts to identify it will cause it to appear as such. However, it is in fact, the receiving end of all other Orbs. Anytime a person attempts to use the orb on something, something annihilated someplace else pops out, limited only by the DM’s imagination. (u/WSHII)
39) The Inanimate Carbon Rod - an Immovable Rod, seemingly carved from coal or charcoal. The Rod functions in all other ways as a standard Immovable Rod made of iron, but any honors, rewards, notoriety, and treasure earned during adventures in which the Rod is actively used are attributed to the heroism of the Rod itself rather than the adventurers using it. Titles are bestowed on it rather than them, all treasure is deposited in inaccessible accounts at the royal bank, etc. On the other hand, nefarious PCs will soon realize that this means everything EVIL that they do will also be blamed on the Rod. (u/WSHII)
40) The Seraphim's Mirror: An ornate silver mirror said to have been crafted by the gods themselves. It opens a gateway to other dimensions, bypassing any barriers or borders that world may have. The creator of this mirror realized the dreaded truth of this item; like all windows, it's not one-sided. Can be used to grab the attention of a malevolent all-powerful entity that may or may not be interested in destroying, dominating, or generally inconveniencing your world. (u/Yuriwuv)
41) Potion of True Undeath (credit to Zee Bradshaw for the idea) - a inky and viscous black potion, it bestows a contagion-like enchantment when anointed over a reanimated physical undead of less than 3CR, such as a ghoul or zombie. The zombie immediately drops to 1 hp, but any living creature damaged by the zombie must make a DC 17 constitution save each round until hit with a Cure Disease or fall to zero hp and unconscious. If they fail all three death saves, they are raised as another undead, with the same contagious properties as the first zombie. A player who injured in this way, but has yet to fail their Constitution save, may remove the bitten or scratched limb, taking 1/4 of their total HP in unavoidable damage. (u/WSHII)
42) Viral Stone: a seemingly harmless white chunk of rock that is currently suspended in a vacuum chamber in a forgotten Wizard Keep. Any solid material, living or nonliving, that comes into contact with it slowly transforms into more Viral Stone. This can be spread through the air via infected dust particles. While water can't be infected, the tiny particles IN THE WATER can. Saltwater spreads the infection especially quickly.
43) ArmoClothing/Accessory of Apathy: this object was designed to help warriors power through their injuries during battle, but the effect was a bit too strong. Instead, the wearer becomes completely indifferent to everything around them. They will not eat, sleep, move, or do anything at all. If the armor is not removed, the affected person will eventually just stop breathing. Even touching the item is enough to make someone apathetic, which makes removing it difficult.
44) Scroll of Law: when this arcane document is read, all creatures across the universe will have no choice but to follow whatever instructions, rules, or regulations are written on it. Currently, most of the page is taken up by the words "No Conflict," but there might be a little space to write something in the corner. When reading the scroll, you must read everything on the page for it to take effect, and the scroll cannot contradict itself or reverse the effects of previous readings.
45) Wish-Wisp: this powerful artifact appears as a small glass bottle with a tiny glowing wisp inside. When a creature smashes the bottle, the Wish-Wisp fulfills all of their inner desires instantly, with no negative side effects or monkey's-paw-like consequences. The Wisp then dissipates, and it can't be used again.
46) Wand of Loneliness: When used, this spell makes it so nobody, and I mean NOBODY, will trust a word the caster says, and everyone will treat the caster with open hostility. This includes other party members. Duration is permanent. Enjoy watching your world fall apart while you're powerless to stop it, loser.
47) Deck of One Thing: appears like a normal Deck of Many Things, but no matter which card you draw, it will always be The Void.
48) Axe of Absent-Mindedness: magically dismembers whoever or whatever the wielder happens to think about, even for a moment. Doesn't matter if it's friend, foe, family, party member, or even the wielder themselves. However, the axe will not target itself.
49) Hoop of Bullshit: once something enters the hoop, it can't leave. Ever. And you can't move the hoop or destroy it, either. No ranged weapons, no spells, no noise, no souls, nothing. You're stuck, forever.
50) Ring of Bullshit: this ring will appear exactly as a useful magical Ring of Water Breathing, but instead of helping you, it kills you with no save when you put it on. No matter how anyone examines the ring, it will appear to be an ordinary Ring of Water Breathing. This one is less of a "directly end the campaign" item and more of a "wow wtf, this is no fun at all, you suck DM" kind of item. For bonus points, instead of a No-Save death, have them roll a save, but declare they died before they even look at the result.
(All by u/FlyingSpy)
51) The Imp: A small carved soapstone figurine of a cute but mischievous looking imp. Activated with a drop of blood, the statue disappears in a puff of sulfurous smoke. The user becomes the caster (regardless of whether they have magical abilities or not) of a Find Familiar spell, with the familiar being an imp that is constantly under the effect of Greater Invisibility and communicates with the user telepathically. The imp is friendly to the user and very persuasive (i.e. 20 CHA and has advantage on all social checks). It will try to convince the user that it really just wants to help them succeed at whatever they're trying to do. It will invisibly perch on the user's shoulder and whisper advice to them, giving them advantage on ALL skill and attack checks ("Duck now!", "Tell the shopkeeper how handsome he is.", "Use the long lockpick with the curve in it", etc.).
During long rests, the imp will ask for nourishment in the form of the users blood. Accommodating the imp results in a cumulative reduction/day of 1% of the character's max hp, rounded down (i.e. a character with 50 max hp will lose no hp on the first day, max at 49 on the second day, etc.) This hp lost can be regained through normal means, such as Cure spells, but the effect starts over at the next rest. Failing to allow the imp to feed or otherwise alerting any other character to its presence and/or effects results in the imp becoming hostile and fleeing, only to later return and begin plaguing the character with bites, stings, and scratches during their sleep. This means that the benefits of long rests are reduced to those of short rests and short rests are useless. The imp can be "killed" but as soon as it reconstitutes enough of itself to re-manifest on the material plane (a time frame of the DM's discretion), it will hunt down the original character and begin plaguing them again.
Oh, and it tells you things about the other player characters - what they said when you weren't around, what they really think, how much of the treasure they took.... (u/WSHII)
52) The Poking Stick: a normal 10 foot pole. It can be used to poke things and see what they do. Applicable to suspicious chests, glowing things, sleeping dragons, etc. Using it successfully will make you want to poke more things with it. For more fun, have it be an intelligent object that is obsessed with more poking and is only attunable to halflings, kender, chaotic neutral alignments, tabaxi, and rogues (u/WSHII)
53) Map of the Gods: This parchment, nondescript but for a copyright print belonging to The Recursion Company, unfolds into a map of the world you occupy, overlaid with a square grid where one square is equal to 100mi2. You can poke a square with a finger. If you do, the entire area of that square in the real world is crushed under a gargantuan finger from space which deals 512d8 damage to everything in that area, with a DEX save under disadvantage to take only half damage. Objects automatically fail this save.
You can continue to unfold the parchment a further 7 times. Each time you do, the scale adjusts, centered on you, with the squares becoming 50mi2, 10mi2, 1mi2, 500ft2, 100ft2, 50ft2, and 5ft2. Moving around with the map unfolded continues to center on you. The damage from poking a square halves each time you unfold the parchment (doubling if you fold it back again). So, to extrapolate, poking the map after unfolding it eight times does 4d8 damage to one area of 5 square feet.
You can only poke the map once a day. After you do, the map folds itself back into the starting condition.

You can attempt to unfold the map a ninth time. However, you have a bad feeling about it which stops you at the last second. If you try again, the feeling is really, really bad. If you try a third time - well, the map tried to warn you. The ninth unfolding unfolds you and your soul into a two-dimensional being. You no longer need to breathe, eat or sleep, and can pass through walls. All of your weapons now do slashing damage. However, your AC is reduced to 10, a single point of damage will instantly obliterate you, and your two-dimensional soul will not be able to be resurrected in a three-dimensional body. [Finds] Fashion watches on DHgate (Hugo Boss, Armani, Burberry, LV, Gucci, Givenchy & many more)

I know that fashion watches aren't exactly favored here, however I've seen a few folks asking about them recently. I figured I'd share the fashion watches I've found in my quest for reps of low key <$1,000 watches that I could wear on a more regular basis.
There are a few good things about these types of watches:
  • They're usually pretty cheap (<$20 because the auth versions are also cheaply made, despite their high retail price lol)
  • Speaking of being cheaply made, the auth versions are almost always quartz, so the cheap quartz reps are passable (unlike quartz reps of mechanical watches)
  • Nobody is going to LC these because who the hell would buy a rep of a fashion watch, but even so, the reps are typically pretty true to form (they benefit from the fact that fashion watches usually have highly simplistic designs; easy to replicate)
  • They come in multiple colorways and will go with a lot of different outfits (you won't look weird rocking one with anything from a t-shirt and jeans to a suit, unlike that dude driving the Mazda 3 and wearing Target specials with a $50K Rolex on his wrist)
Now that I've attempted to proactively defend myself & my questionable choices, here's the list (all have reviews with images):
I've just purchased a couple of these, so I'll post in-hand reviews when they arrive. Beyond that, I haven't been able to verify the quality or accuracy of these watches personally, so please read the reviews and compare the customer photos with auth photos if you care about that kind of thing. Most of these are unisex, but several are specific to men or women, and are designated as such in the product title on DHgate.
Many are available from multiple sellers, sometimes with small differences between them (for example, the date window placement on the first Hugo Boss watch is only accurate on versions from a couple sellers, including the one linked here). There are also many other models that I haven't linked because there weren't any reviews with photos.
If you'd like to do your own searching, simply search "fashion watch" on DHgate and you'll get plenty of stuff.
If you come across anything nice, please share a link in the comments! Happy shopping.

[Vaer A5 Field White USA Automatic] - Help deciding

Hi Watches,
Longtime lurker. I am looking for anybody here whom owns a Vaer automatic watch and can help comment on their experience.
I initially began looking for automatic Field watches (Hamilton Khaki) but saw a few posts about Vaer watches. The design is very appealing to me however nobody I know has any personal experience with owning one.
If anybody can add their insight regarding;
*How is the build quality, time accuracy and reliability of your watch? Quartz vs Automatic? Any regrets?
*If you had issues with the watch, was the warranty/return process easy?
*If you are a non-US resident (I'm Canadian), how was shipping through customs and were there duties? (I've never ordered anything like this online/cross border)
*Are single pass watches restricted to NATO straps only?
*Are there other brands of Field watches that you think offer better quality/value at this price ($449 USD)?
*Any other callouts/comments/experiences? I would like this to be my daily beater watch and if I go on vacation or exercise I would plan on wearing it (running, diving, etc)
Any comments are appreciated, pictures welcomed!

[SEIKO 4336-8030] - My first watch

[SEIKO 4336-8030] - My first watch
https://preview.redd.it/g0can2129ou41.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=da7456b87cf07bead57cafc802bc2279c7ce89d0
So a little background on this:
After my failed attempt of getting some homage datejust watches from Parnis, I got a little upset about the whole automatic movements. Why would you buy such an expensive watch to not keep track of time perfectly every day/ 365 days a year? I know some expensive brands come close to accuracy but there will always be some differ positive or negative.
So after that I wanted to go back to quartz movement watches. When I want to wear a watch, it must tell the time correctly. I still very much liked the datejust design only I could much watches that I liked enough to buy it. Also some would be from fishy websites, which I actually didn't feel comfortable buying from. After some digging on my national online marketplace I came across this seiko watch. It looked cool and I immediatly loved the two-tone dial and the bracelet. Accordingly to the owner, who was/ is a vintage seiko collector, the watch is from 1977 or 1978 (can't remember).

  • Seiko Quartz Type II - 701516 (what does this no. represents?)
  • Probably from around 1977 or 1978
  • Reference no. 4336-8030
  • Brown - white two-tone dial
  • Day & date function

So after a quick chit chat I decided to buy it for the price of 70 euros. Thought it was a fair price. It has some wear and scratches but I think it only suits the watch well thinking about its age.
Am now thinking of getting more of these watches with different dial styles. If anybody has extra info about this watch or about the weird symbol on the dial (looks like a sort of rocket), let me know.

[Review] AF's Cartier Ballon Bleu is satisfying AF. (Cartier Ballon Bleu 33mm quartz, stainless steel, white guilloche).

This review actually got eaten up by Reddit and only half-posted. 🤯 I was this close to calling it quits but... we'll try again.
I've had my eye on the Cartier Ballon Bleu for a while and eventually settled on the AF factory's replica of the 33mm quartz. I was tossing up between V6F and AF but was deeply impressed by the AF vs gen comparison of each element. (They compare the automatic pink guilloche 33mm, but I figured the quartz would be similar in accuracy.) I generally prefer automatics but don't want to go through the hassle of finding somewhere that will service a rep, so quartz it is!
Also putting this here now (and repeating it in the seller rating); If you're thinking of buying from Lucy, please pay attention to the timeline given below. Many watch TDs are slower to respond than repladies' TSs; Lucy is slower still. Her QC reputation is unparalleled and she is fantastic to work with, but if you get nervous if your seller doesn't get back to you after a week, you should find someone else to work with.

  • Nov 12 2019: Received quote and sent payment.
  • Dec 9 2019: Sent Lucy an email to let her know I don't need the watch before Christmas. This was also a sneaky way of checking in on my order.
  • Jan 5 2020: Sent Lucy another email to ask about its status and if I should wait until after LNY to receive the watch.
  • Jan 8 2020: Lucy replied to say the watch was ready and sent PSPs. Gave PSPs the GL.

Auth:

💸 Quality : 9.5/10

High-tier Cartier BB reps are considered NWBIG by many and some models are considered super reps. This watch is really no exception.
Materials:
  • Stainless steel: It's heavy and weighty. Having neither the auth nor scales on hand to compare, I'd say it feels very similar to the auth in the boutique.
  • Cabochon: gorgeous colour — a very subtle glowing navy blue that flashes sapphire in bright light. The auth uses synthetic spinel, which is fairly inexpensive. Wouldn't be surprised if the rep uses the same material. If not, they certainly look the same to the naked eye.
  • Blued hands: Not sure if these are heat-blued or painted/chemically blued. (Probably the latter as heat bluing is costly and time-consuming.) If these are heat-blued, they look perfect — not even close to overdone and bronzed. If these are chemically blued/painted, they've got the pigment right — a deep black-blue in natural light and cobalt in bright light. I don't have a loupe to see how sharply finished the angles are, but they look great to the naked eye, even when the naked eye is pressed against the watch.
  • Sapphire crystal: haven't gone somewhere to confirm that it's made of sapphire crystal, but it looks clear and not cloudy for now. It's also nicely rounded and is thick enough to give slight distortion of the face when viewed at an angle, but not as much as the auth does.
Construction:
  • Clasp: Secure and tight. Lucy auto-rejected a watch for me with a loose clasp, so it's nice to know that this one is definitely secure.
  • Dial printing: The Roman numerals and Cartier logos look good. The printing is let down in SWISS MADE at the bottom, where the second S (SWISS) looks super janky, both in photos and to the naked eye if you're centimetres away from the watch. [-0.5]
  • Bracelet: Good weight and the centre links have a nice satin finish. Links are finished with slot screws as per the auth.
  • Engraving: Sharp and clear on the caseback and bracelet. (See accuracy notes regarding how shallow it is, though.)
  • Watch dial: The guilloche detail looks clean and sharp. To the naked eye, it looks identical to the auth. I imagine it would look less clean under a loupe.
  • Crown: winds smoothly, feels secure.

🔍Accuracy : 8.25/10

Please note that I'm overly harsh when it comes to accuracy and this has nothing to do with the actual quality of the rep or the satisfaction I (or anyone else) can get from it. This watch, and indeed many Cartier reps, will pass 10/10 on the street and on Instagram.
Basically, I'm staring at this watch so hard that my migraine auras now have guilloche detail. 🥴
We're looking at the details of a watch that is 33mm across, so I'm changing up my usual accuracy system to accommodate the insanity of judging minute details!
-1 if the difference is immediately obvious when placed next to an auth.
-0.5 if the difference would be noticed by a casual seasoned buyer trying to authenticate a preloved item through images before purchasing. (I think casual buyers would be easily pleased with a lower tier Cartier watch if all engravings, etc. were in place; seasoned watch lovers are not above asking for macro shots or drawing lines across the watch face to see if everything is correctly aligned.)
-0.25 if the differences require side-by-side, place-the-bags-in-the-exact-positions comparisons, or could be spotted by a seasoned authenticator. close up, breathe-on-the-watch examination by someone armed with a QC/LC list of common high-tier Cartier rep flaws. Basically, if I feel like a crazy person pointing it out, it'll be -0.25.
I am not going to dock points for inaccurate serial numbers or interior workings. Pretty sure that a watchmaker would realise the watch is fake as soon as they opened the caseback.
The good
  • The bracelet has slot screws rather than pins.
  • The caseback also has the required number of slot screws.
  • The large Cartier logo and small Cartier signature in the VII space are clear and beautifully done. The small Cartier signature is aligned properly.
  • The SWISS MADE print, though janky (see below) is also correctly spaced (beginning before the left serif of the I in VI; peak of the A aligned with the left serif of V and ends before the right serif of the V). I've read of some reps with the spacing a little off — usually the peak of the A aligning mid-serif.
  • The sapphire crystal is rounded to give that pleasing pebble-like profile.
  • I refuse to count guilloche lines even for karma, but there are twelve guilloche 'pie' slices as per the auth and the guilloche continues past the satin rings.
  • The case is 10mm, as per the auth. Apparently the V6F is 11mm. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • The satin rings on which the Roman numerals are printed appear to have slight long brushed radial lines instead of just blasted smooth. This is hard to photograph and can only just be seen when it catches the light. The auth has similar radial lines; other reps are just blasted to a satin finish.
  • The AF dial is meant to be whiter and brighter than the V6F. Again, having neither auth nor V6F to compare, this is just anecdotal.
The not-so-good (but really only if you're a Cartier expert, horophile or worried about being called out by friends with loupes permanently screwed to their sockets)
  • The wonky S on SWISS MADE. It's a quality thing but I'd say also an accuracy thing as it points to the inferior rep dial printing methods. [-0.5]
  • The engraving on the caseback is shallower and looks like it's in white font instead of steel. [-1] No idea why; it's a huge tell only if you're trying to scam someone and sell this as auth. So no big deal really.
  • This feels ridiculous and I want to just say 'lololol', but... the inner case surrounding the crown is polished steel on the rep, and should be satin-finish on the auth. [-0.25 lololol.] 🙃

📱Seller Communication and Service : 9/10

Unlike accuracy, I try to be a bit more generous when rating sellers and hold them to their own standards instead of comparing them to others. It's not fair to dock points from, say, TS Fang for not being chatty and conversational like TS Zippy, when that's just not how she does business — and it doesn't affect the success of transaction at all. Though Lucy is slow and doesn't communicate as quickly as other sellers, this is part of the way she operates business and she outlines it from the beginning, so I'm not docking points for that.
Lucy is super sweet and really knowledgeable when it comes to the rep watch game. She's also well-known and well-loved for her QC skills. A lot of RWI folks say that they trust her ability to QC over their own, and that's saying something when it comes from the detail-obsessed rep watch community.
Her focus on QC means that she is also slower to get watches out and slower to respond, as she will auto-reject watches before sending you PSPs. She also tests watches to make sure that they're running as they should, and sends watches to her watchmaker contacts to fix issues like dust on the dial. (The more cynical side of me says that removing dust on the dial is a great way to build a reputation for great QC, lol!)
That said, she is more expensive than other TDs and definitely slower to respond. If you're new to buying or like responsive sellers, I cannot in good conscience recommend you work with Lucy. Think of the maximum amount of time you would give a seller to respond, and then tack on 3-4 weeks of complete silence. It feels a lot like throwing your money into the void. I'd give Lucy a full 10/10 if she communicated every time she auto-rejected a watch for you, but I understand that that's not how she works and it would probably add even more to her workflow.
If you do go with Lucy, check her subforum on RWI periodically to see if she's replied to people's emails. She also posts there to let customers know if she's having issues with email.

❤️ Satisfaction : 10/10

I love this watch. I think it's easily one of the best rep buys I've done, and can't imagine getting a cheaper brand at the same price point as the quality really is there.
I'm not sure if there's much of a difference between the AF and V6F reps, but I eventually went with AF because of the chatter about the more accurate details. It's $100 more, which is a lot to pay for minuscule differences, but I figure it's $100 to stop me from second-guessing my rep choice. (Of course, if I had gone with V6F, it'd be 'I figure $100 isn't worth the minuscule differences'.) From what I've read, AF and V6F are the 187 and GF of Cartier, so you won't go wrong with either.

[Recommendation Request] Looking for a dive watch with concerns about the movement.

Hi there, I'm looking for a dive watch that works for me. I'm currently in the army and I also occasionally work as an Audio Visual Technician so I am fairly active and I plan on wearing this watch daily in all kinds of conditions.
Budget: Around $300 USD Size: Probably less than 40mm | Wrist is 7" around Look: Preferably black dial with a black bezel with usable lume | I do like the look of the Seiko SKX007 Band: I'm not a fan of metal bands so I plan on using a NATO or Zulu style strap Movement: Whichever is most durable and accurate but I am not finding too many dive watches that are quartz in my price range Complications: Date is a must but day I can give or take. Anything more I probably won't use besides the bezel classically found on diving watches. Please no internet bluetooth anything. Concerns: My main concern is durability and accuracy (specifically with automatic movements) and the watch dwarfing my thin wrist.
I'm happy to answer questions with more detail and clarification. I also like learning.

[Brand Guide] Grand Seiko

/Watches Brand Guide
This is part of our ongoing community project to update and compile opinions on the many watch brands out there into a single list. Here is the original post explaining the project. That original post was done seven (7) years ago, and it's time to update the guide and discussions.
Today's brand is: Grand Seiko
Seiko first released a Grand Seiko watch in 1960, and it was a "chronometer-grade" manual-only 18000 bph watch. This was a self-certified "chronometer-grade" watch using Seiko's own standard, and watches were provided with a certificate. This watch only had the "Grand Seiko" branding on the dial (no "Seiko"). At some point between 1960 and 1963, dials started to have "Seiko" at the top and "Grand Seiko" on the bottom, and this double-branding would continue for decades.
In 1967, Grand Seiko introduced their first automatic watch: the 62GS. This was a 19800 bph watch. (Side note: Seiko did a limited-edition reissue of this in 2015.)
Oddly, production of Grand Seiko watches stopped in 1975, due to the same quart crisis that Seiko helped precipitate.
In 1998, Seiko introduced a quartz Grand Seiko, the 95GS, and it had an accuracy of 10 seconds/year. The movement is sealed to slow down degradation of the lubricating oils, and all parts are made in-house. This includes growing and cutting the quartz crystal.
In 1998, Seiko again starts production of mechanical Grand Seiko Watches, starting with the 9S5 series.
In 1999, Seiko introduces their novel Spring Drive movement, a largely traditional mechanical movement, but with a small amount of quartz electronics. Unlike regular watches that have hands that "tick" (typically, 1, 5, 6, 8, or 10 times a second), Spring Drive hands move continuously, without any ticking whatsoever. Many people find this almost hypnotic.
With Spring Drive, the escapement (balance wheel and pallet fork) is replaced with a free-running glide wheel that is electromagnetically braked. Without the braking, the watch would run very fast. However, the electronics monitor how fast the glide wheel is turning, and applies electromagnetic braking to slow down the glide wheel to make the watch keep accurate time. What's even more interesting is that this glide wheel is doing double-duty; it's also generating the power for the very-low-power electronics. No batteries are needed -- just the normal wrist movement that causes the automatic rotor to wind up the mainspring. See this youtube video for more details on how Spring Drive works.
In 2017, Seiko rebranded Grand Seiko as its own brand. Dials now have "Grand Seiko" at the top, without "Seiko" being anywhere on the dial.
Today, Grand Seikos have 3 types of movements:
  • Quartz. The 9F series with its 10-seconds/year accuracy is impressive. Note: it's often claimed that 9F movements have a "50-year service interval", but this is a myth.
  • Traditional mechanical. These are often hi-beat watches running at 36000 bph.
  • Spring Drive. As described above, these are mostly mechanical watches, but have a self-powered, quartz electronics core.

KNOWN FOR:
  • The "Snowflake", SBGA211. An older, pre-rebranding model, with both "Grand Seiko" and "Seiko" on the dial, is the SBGA011.
Other Resources:
As usual, anything and everything regarding this brand is fair game for this thread.
If you're going to downvote someone, please don't do so without posting the reason why you disagree with them. The purpose of these discussion threads is to encourage discussion, so people can read different opinions to get different ideas and perspectives on how people view these brands. Downvoting without giving a counter-perspective is not helpful to anybody

[Review] What is a watch movement anyway, or Chanel J12 Graffiti 38 mm watch review

I have only recently became a bit of a watch enthusiast after catching a bug from my husband's obsession with Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, which sent us on a long rollercoaster like journey to procure a replica for one, but that's a story for another time.
Today is the day I tell you a story how I learned about different watch movements. Those can be a bit confusing at first glance, so I thought sharing might help some of my fellow ladies on their future quests.
So, what is a watch movement? In very simple terms, a movement is what makes the watch "go". Most watch companies purchase either entire movements or their components from other companies.
There are 3 types of watch movements for most the watches out there: manual, automatic and quartz. Let's break it down, shall we?
•Manual, or hand wound movement - is the most traditional, dating back to the 16th century. This movement is powered by the daily wounding of the crown till there's tension in the spring inside the watch. As that spring tries to unwind, it releases energy through complex series of gears and makes the watch hands move.
The accuracy of these watches can vary greatly, depending on the cost, anywhere from losing a couple second a day to several minutes a day.
Most of luxury watch collectors prefer manual movement watches.
•Automatic movement, or self winding - is similar to a mechanic. This type of watch has a built in rotor that freely spins and rotates, capturing kinetic energy from the natural motion of the wearers wrist and continuing to power the watch.
While mechanical watches tend to be delicate and slim, the automatic ones tend to be bigger and heavier, to accommodate the rotor and gear system inside.
Now, it's a common misconception that automatic watches don't need to be wound. Yes, the high quality watch will have a power reserve anywhere from 42 to 72 hours, but once the power goes below 25%, the watch tends to speed up a bit. Most watch experts recommend winding your automatic watch in the morning to help keep more accurate time. Also, turns out a lot of watch owners enjoy that little morning ritual and building a relationship with their timepiece.
•Quartz movement - was introduced by Seiko in 1969. The launch of this new technology challenged the traditional timepiece houses that relied on the mechanical movement. In response, most established watch companies released their own versions of quartz timepieces, kicking off an era of battery powered watches.
How does quartz movement work? A battery in the watch sends a signal through a quartz crystal in the watch. The quartz vibrates at 32768 times a second, creating a signal with precise frequency. The vibrations are then converted to a singe pulse per second, moving the hands of the watch.
Quartz watches are extremely accurate and easy to maintain and are best suited for daily use.
Which brings me to the review of the actual watch, Chanel J12 Graffiti. Designed in 2000, J12 is landmark, being a pioneer in luxury ceramic watches. The J12 Graffiti was inspired by street art and introduced in 2017.
This particular model comes in a 33 mm and 38 mm automatic, you can also find the 33 mm in a quartz version as well.
All of this brings me to KOR, also described as "real Korean ceramic". I spent a lot of time on the RepTime subreddit combing through their posts, trying to decide where to get the best quality J12 version.
KOR seems to have been around for a long time and is held in high regard for producing 1:1, or as close as could be reasonably expected.
• Where did I buy: TS Anna
• Contact method: WeChat (her contact details are listed on the trusted sellers list)
• Factory: KOR (Real Korean Ceramic)
Timeline
• Date inquired 8/16, Anna inquired if I wanted an automatic or quartz, and what size, I said 38 cm quartz. After some back and forth and more researching, the 38 cm version only comes in an automatic and KOR is being consistent with their reps here.
• Price: $356 plus $60 for shipping (part of a bigger haul)
• Method of payment: PayPal F&F
• PSP sent 8/18, approved, got tracking info the same day
• Package arrived via UPS 8/26 while the tracking was showing it's sitting in customs as of 8/21, but it obviously cleared that week and tracking never updated
My pics
• Factory photos - no factory photos, sent the picture of the watch and asked if Anna could source from KOR.
PSP
• Auth here
• Quality 10/10
The first thing you notice taking it out of the box, is how heavy it is. This ceramic timepiece could be used to inflict some bodily harm on a person, if such need should arise.
The hinges and clasps are solid, supported by a spring that requires certain amount of pressure to snap it shut. Once it's on your wrist, you know it's not going anywhere until you want to remove it.
The bezell with the graffiti design can be turned around and moves with heavy satisfying clicking sensation.
The auth of this watch is supposed to have a power reserve of 42 hours, I haven't tested that yet, but I have found it easily keeps power overnight.
I have been keeping an eye on the timekeeping accuracy and so far haven't noticed it speeding up or slowing down.
The ceramic watches are known for being indestructible, and I'm curious to experience it's resilience in the real world. I've been wearing it every day since I got it, including during household chores, and so far not a singe sign of wear.
• Accuracy 9/10
I am very impressed as how close to 1:1 this watch is.
The size of the watch and bracelet, design of the crown are all accurate.
I measured the dial size and it's exactly 38 mm.
The graffiti design on the bezel and bezel itself is consistent with the auth.
I could not find the photo of the backing of the auth watch so I can not speak to the accuracy of the back plating.
The watch face seems identical to the auth with one difference- the shade of the squares representing each hour. The auth is an empty square while the rep is shaded in, I put together a comparison here
It's a minor difference and you really have to strain your eyesight to notice it (-0.5 point)
Interestingly enough, on the inside of the box you can find the KOR brand stamping, picture here
That's the only thing giving away the watch packaging, I thought it was interesting that KOR still wanted to brand their work somehow (-0.5 point)
• Satisfaction 10/10
Very happy with this watch! I have an auth Chanel Boy Friend watch I wear for more special occasions and events, so the J12 perfectly fills the every day watch spot.
I was concerned a little at first that having to wind it would annoy me, but I'm finding myself really enjoying myself doing that little ritual. Makes it feel more special somehow. Another benefit of the automatic movement is the beautiful sweeping motion of the second hand, as opposed to the “ticking” motion characteristic of quartz watches. It really is a pleasure to watch it move and I find it oddly hypnotizing and soothing.
I took it to a jeweler to get the bracelet sized, and he complimented me on what a beautiful timepiece it was, and then proceeded to charge me up the wazoo, cause, you know, Chanel.
I would absolutely wear it into a Chanel boutique, and in fact planning to do so when we go on a shopping trip in a couple of weeks. I will report my experience!
• Seller communication 10/10
Anna is great, she is polite and efficient. This buy was a part of a bigger haul and she put it all together and shipped in less than 3 days.

[Grand Seiko] Buyers Regret on Gs Quartz?

Hey guys
TLDR at the end of post.
A while back I made a post asking for opinions for my first luxury watch, which I went ahead and got my Tudor black Bay heritage blue bezel. I had been extremely pleased with my purchase for a number of reasons, it being Swiss made, expensive and recognisable as a brand, that I can show this off that I had made some progress in life, etc etc.
However I attended a recent grand seiko event in singapore and my close friend who attended with me was just swooning over this grand seiko quartz model from 2012, and soon we weren’t looking at the centerpiece of the event but at the quartz models.
Fast forward 2 weeks later I’m still thinking about the quartz watch on a daily basis, and to be fair the grand seiko quartz gmt had been in contention against the Tudor as my first luxury watch purchase to begin with so it’s not like I didn’t know what’s the selling point of grand seiko and whatnot, but I probably went with Tudor largely because I wanted to have a bit of bragging rights to myself and to whoever sees it.
However I feel like the after spending even more time with the GS quartz pieces they really do speak to me. People always talk abt the zaratsu finishing and the design whatnot, but I think it is the promise of accuracy that really blew me away. 10 seconds a year is just an insane concept now that my Tudor is running 2 seconds a day and well within cosc. That really spoke to me and while I’m not too concerned about the price tag since it’s well within what I can fork out, Im still concerned that it is still after all quartz and it ticks, not jitter not sweeps.
Has anyone gone after a quartz GS and experienced buyers regret, or just any quartz luxury and wished you went for the automatic route? Let me know and thanks!
TLDR: bought Tudor as first watch, looking to pick up grand seiko quartz but am worried that I will regret picking up a quartz despite all that is impressive of the 9F movement. Looking to see if anyone has experienced buyers regret on this matter. Thank you!

The strap of the watch is also a prime matter. If anyone wants to get a long-lasting watch then rubber straps are the best bet. This strap is easy to clean and doesn't get damaged easily. So, this can be considered as the safest option.
4.Suitable with Skin Tone;
