Yakuza 3, 4, 5 remasters have only been announced for Japan but series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi hinted that it is coming to the West and explained why they’re not Kiwami remakes. and as a pc owner it's even worse, because I can't play them at all. unless the Yakuza 3 remaster is going to be released on the pc as well (maybe if the Kiwami on pc sells are good). and that's before we ask the important questions, like if the cut content will be restored (a lot of gamers were angry about that one) The Yakuza 3 remaster has already received a release date, where it is slated to be released in Japan on August 9th, 2018. Thankfully, I have little issues with going back to older titles in general, but I guess it could feel weird to play Yakuza 3 after the Kiwami 2 remake. Maybe because of value proposition. Considering they already think Yakuza 0 and 5 are only worth about $20 on their own these days, releasing Yakuza 3 and 4 wouldn't do so well for sales figures. As to why we haven't gotten Judgement or Fist of the North Star, I am going to guess they were licensed to Sony.
